AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT - AUTOMATION

Automation & Robotic Integration

Beyond coil-fed strip production, some fine blanking applications need robotic part handling - loading pre-cut blanks, unloading finished parts for inspection, or feeding parts into a downstream process. We integrate automation around the press rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Where Automation Adds Value

  • Robotic unloading and stacking for parts too large or heavy for manual handling
  • Automated part-presence and dimensional checking integrated into the press cycle
  • Pick-and-place transfer between the press and downstream deburring or inspection stations
  • Data logging integration - feeding press cycle, tonnage and part-count data into a plant MES/SCADA system

Automation scope is engineered around your actual bottleneck - there's little value in a fast robot feeding a line that's limited elsewhere, so we start from your full production cell, not the press in isolation.

Integration Points We Commonly Support

Integration PointTypical Purpose
Press PLC to Robot ControllerCycle synchronization, fault interlocking
Press PLC to Plant MES/SCADAProduction count, tonnage and OEE data logging
Vision or Sensor-Based Part CheckIn-line presence/dimensional verification before part release
Conveyor or AGV InterfaceAutomated transfer to downstream deburring or packing

Robot brand and integration scope is selected against your existing plant standards where possible, rather than mandating a specific vendor.
