Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most from buyers evaluating a fine blanking press purchase or service project.
What tonnage fine blanking press do I need for my part?
It depends on your part's cut perimeter, material thickness and shear strength. As a rough guide, small connector or lock parts often fall in the HF200–HF320 range, mid-size automotive gears in HF400–HF500, and larger or thicker parts in HF650–HF1200. See our tonnage selection guide for the calculation, or send us your drawing for a confirmed recommendation.
Do you design the die, or do I need to source tooling separately?
We offer full fine blanking die design and build in-house, engineered specifically for your part and press platform. You're also welcome to supply your own tooling if you already have it.
Can you refurbish a press that isn't one of your own machines?
Yes. Our field service team refurbishes and repairs Feintool, Mori and other major fine blanking press brands, not only presses we manufactured. See our refurbishment service page for scope.
What's the typical lead time for a new press?
Lead time depends on tonnage, configuration and whether custom tooling is included, but standard-platform presses typically ship within 10–16 weeks of order confirmation and FAT sign-off. See our MOQ & lead times guide for a full breakdown.
Do you provide installation and training?
Yes — we support on-site or remotely-guided installation, commissioning and operator/maintenance training for every new press delivery. See our installation & training page.
What payment terms do you offer?
Our standard structure is a 30% deposit, 60% before shipment (after FAT sign-off), and a 10% balance after installation. L/C terms are available for qualifying orders. Full detail is on our payment terms & warranty page.
Can you ship to my country and handle customs documentation?
Yes — we prepare the full export documentation package your customs broker needs for your destination country. See our import & shipping guide for the process.
What warranty do you provide?
A standard 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects from the commissioning date, with extended options available on hydraulic and control components. Full terms are on our payment terms & warranty page.
Can I visit the factory before ordering?
Yes, we welcome in-person plant visits and can also arrange a live video factory tour for buyers who can't travel. Contact us to schedule one.
Do you supply spare parts for older or non-Hubei-built presses?
In many cases, yes — we manufacture and source guiding, hydraulic and control components matched to original tolerances for a range of press brands. Send us your press brand, model and the part you need.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No — we accept single-unit press orders. See our MOQ & lead times page for detail on spare parts quantities.
How do I know I can trust a Chinese equipment supplier I haven't worked with before?
Ask for FAT documentation, request a live video factory tour, and consider third-party inspection. See our dedicated guide on this exact question.
