What Actually Determines Your Tolerance
- Press guiding stiffness and condition (a worn guiding system directly loosens achievable tolerance)
- Die design quality, particularly cutting-edge clearance and V-ring geometry
- Material consistency — thickness variation and hardness spread within the coil
- Part geometry — thin walls, sharp internal corners and large flat spans behave differently
