Check Guiding Parallelism Quarterly
A simple dial-indicator check across the stroke can catch guiding wear early, before it affects part quality — and well before it requires a full guiding rebuild.
Don't Ignore Small Shear-Face Changes
Gradual burr-height increase or shear-face roughness is often the earliest sign of die wear or guiding drift. Treat it as a maintenance trigger, not a tooling-only issue.
