Installation Site & Foundation Requirements
Before a press arrives, your facilities team needs to confirm the floor, power and crane capacity are ready for it. Planning this early avoids the most common cause of installation delay.
What to Confirm Before Delivery
- Floor loading capacity — verify your floor or foundation can support the press's static and dynamic load, particularly for HF800+ platforms
- Foundation/anti-vibration requirements — larger presses typically need a reinforced concrete foundation with isolation from surrounding structure
- Crane or rigging capacity — confirm building crane capacity or arrange external rigging for unloading and positioning
- Electrical supply — voltage, frequency and available amperage matched to the press's rated power draw
- Compressed air supply — required for some pneumatic auxiliary functions
- Clearance for maintenance access — space around the press for guiding-system service, die changes and hydraulic maintenance
